Description

Snaking past the Globular Cluster NGC4372 is the officially un-named Dark Doodad Nebula in the Constellation of Musca. It consists of one of the closet dense cloud and dust, star forming regions to us.NGC4372 partially obscured by dust lanes lies 18.9 light years from us and has a mass of 3.29 × 105 of our sun.Taken over 2 nights under the dark skies of rural Victoria Australia with a total integration of 10.6 hours of 300sec light frames.ASKAR 80PHQ quadruplet refractor, QHY128C OSC, UV/IR cut filter, iOptron CEM70. Captured with Voyager and processed with Pixinsight.
